The Holy Trinity
Fresco, 10 cent., Sankt Jakobus, Urschalling, Germany.

It is discussed, if the figure in the middle („The Holy Ghost“) is a woman.

Ecce Homo (Elías Martínez, Cecilia Giménez, commons.wikimedia.org)„Ivan Rebroff“ Jesus

When a painting restoration fails… The story to this fresco went round the world. I think the restoration looks like the Russian singer Ivan Rebroff with fur hat.

Christ and Buddha (Paul Ranson, 1890, commons.wikimedia.org)Meeting Buddha Jesus

Christ and Buddha
Paul Ranson, 1890.

Today it is very popular when traditional Christian and Buddhistic practice and symbols are combined. But in 1890, when the picture was painted, it was by far not so usual.

Holy Trinity (Fridolin Leiber, 1853–1912, commons.wikimedia.org)Multiple Jesus

Holy Trinity
Fridolin Leiber (1853–1912).

Yes, the painting shows nothing, what is never seen on a old painting. But the tree faces of Jesus, one exactly look alike the other, and the whole composition with the putto heads seems to me very strange.

Cheeto Jesus

smilie kopfpatsch
People (especially Americans!) have found Jesus or Mary in toasts, burnt pans, scorched clothes iron, walmart receipe, fruits (cutted in half or not), plant roots, lid of jar, plastic and beer bottles, chunky bar, coffee ground, banana peel, clouds, water stain, any fabric parts, dirt behind refrigerator, floors, walls, reflections on glass skyscrapers or tv monitor, ultrasound scans, backpart of dog, coral, turtle shell, bruises, Google Earth etc. etc…. and in Cheetos! Yes, I believe in real, miraculous apparitions in unusual places, but this, well…
